A Disney Breakthrough

Hey everyone!

Yeah I know it's been a while but with school and everything, I am just way behind on stuff besides school. But the good thing is nothing but A's and B's so far!

But the biggest and best thing I have to share is my Disney Breakthrough! I actually made a Disney Connection in School (well sort off).

So I was up at UMASS Band day (a band festival) and we just finished the Half Time festival. So some of my fellow band members were all sitting and talking, and one of them said he was a huge reader of comic books. Now with the recent purchase of Marvel by Disney, I had to go ahead and pose the question of his opinions on the topic. So he started to say that you know this could go either really good or really bad. So we got into a whole discussion about that, and it was great for me to hear what is was like for someone on the other side of the "contract".

But what got even better was that there was another girl who was with us who was a huge Disney Movie Fan. So she jumped in on the conversation. That made me feel a little better knowing I'm no the only Disney Geek in town.

From there we continued to discuss about the movies of Marvel, the parks, the big U-Word deal. It was awesome.

Anyway I just wanted to share my little breakthrough with you guys.

My Favorite Attractions

So if you herd MouseMeet Episode 2, you know I talked about my favorite attractions. Well I decided to go ahead a post those up on my blog so my blog readers can see them, and this way they are documented in text since there was crummy audio quality.

So Fist off is Magic Kingdom

1. Splash Mountain
2. Space Mountain
2. Big Thunder Mountain

Yes I purposely put 2 twice as Splash and Big Thunder are tied.

OK So after that we take the monorail to TTC, make a switch, and head on down to EPCOT.

1. Soarin'
2. Test Track
3. Spaceship Earth

All great attractions!

Allrighty next we will take a Friendship Boat over to Disney's Hollywood Studios (always MGM to me)

1. Star Tours
2. Toy Story Midway Mania
3.The American Idol Experience

Last we'll catch a bus over to Animal Kingdom for my last Top 3.

1. Expedition Everest
2. Kilimanjaro Safaris
3. The Festival of the Lion King

Podcast going into "Hypersleep"

OK so the podcast was sorta going good, until I relaized, I can't get really far off of the cheap equitment. So I'm shopping around for a decent mic and see what Adobes going to go for. So until then, the podcast won't be going really far. But hey, when your a teen, your on a budget, and since I'm not working yet, mowing lawns will pay off the equitment, and evuntally that disney trip.

Back from Disney World

Hey everyone,

I just got back from Disney World and had a great time. I just wanted to get this post out there to tell everyone I'm back. I can't wait to relase my trip report, reviews of the American Idol expirence and some other great stuff.

The Excitment

I am honestly cant belive that today has come. In just 2 days, I fly down to Flordia. Im in shcok. I am looking forward to the cruise, relazing, eating, meeting new people. It's going to be alot off fun. A great and awesome time. It may not be Disney, but it will be alot off fun.

And then Disney comes, alot of fun, with no explanation needed.

But I've been going crazy for it. Ive been going overboard on the podcasts, fourms, reading the blogs, and other stuff. But still never the less it was great. I think if time doesn't fly any faster, Ill go crazy.

Anyway this will probaly be the last blog post you'll hear from me before vacation. Ill be doing a Cruise/flying trip report, then daily Disney Trip reports, and then the Final eveything else trip report.

Some highlights to the trip are:
First 7 day cruise
Possibly Meeting Lou Mongello
My First Mega Resort Hop.

Ok I have some good ideas for posts comeing down the road, but I want to save those for after vacation and the excitement from it dies down. I just wanted to share my countdown tickers since I was bored. Now you probaly know my current countdown on the right. 16 days!!!!! and thats till Disney I have like less then that till the cruise. Anyway have it below for anyone reading after I remove it from the side. This is my fourm countdown.

Podcasts in the Teenage World.

My probably favorite portion of the Disney community are the podcasts. There are podcasts for every type of thing you can want. Between the official Disney Podcasts, to Lou Mongello discussing everything Disney, to Paul Berry and his excellent Audio Pieces, to TOV with Earl, and hearing the laughs of his experiences at Disney World. Yeah theres alot out their.

Today I wanted to bring to your attention though Podcasts that deal specifically with Disney Teens. This podcast is called "The adventures of a Teenage Disney Geek" ran by Keegan. I love this podcast. Its format is alot like TOV, with the audio recordings of his experiences. It shows how teens and families look at the park. This got me thinking, I should do a Podcast!! I am not announcing a new project, or nether the less releasing one. But I am seriously thinking about it. I was thinking doing a talk show style podcast. Discussing Disney with other teens. Well who knows I might I might not, but right now this blog is enough to keep my busy. Just in case though, ill do some stuff on my upcoming trip. Record some Audio and take some Pics.
